CREATING MULTI APPS or MERGING TWO APPLICATIONS INTO ONE MOBILE APPLICATIONS

Multi app means two or more apps in one midlet.
Ok we shall start with an example-
Take two simple java applications- PaintCAD and Photo snap mobile.
If you dont have just download them by googling.

Right click paintcad.jar and etract to a new folder.
Open the manifest folder fronm the extracted items.
Open the Manifest.MF file with note pad.
You will see something like this MIDlet-1: PaintCAD, /iconka.png, paintcad
Just copy this and paste it another notepad and change it to MIDlet-2: PaintCAD, /iconka.png, paintcad
 Let it be there.
Now copy all the files from the extracted folder except the Manifest folder.
Right click on photo snap.jar and open with winrar(DO NOT EXTRACT)
Press control+v to paste.
Then use notepad and open the manifest file of photo snap.
There you will see something like this
Midlet-1:-------------------
Midlet vendor:------------
Between these two add this MIDlet-2: PaintCAD, /iconka.png, paintcad which we have taken from the manifest file of Paint Cad
Save it.
Close Winrar

Thats all .
You have created two photo editing apps in a single application.
Now tranfer the file to your mobile and install it and see the magic.

I have combined smslife and 160by2 as a single app

You can combine any number of applications but make sure that the two applications does not have same name for class files.

Tendulkar becomes first to score 200 in ODIs

GWALIOR (Reuters) - India's Sachin Tendulkar became the first batsman to score a double century in one-day internationals on Wednesday.
Tendulkar, who opens the batting in ODIs, achieved the feat in the second one-dayer against South Africa, his 200 not out guiding the home team to 401-3 in 50 overs.
The 36-year-old former India captain holds the record for most runs in tests (13,447) and one-day internationals (17,598) and most centuries in tests (47) and ODIs (46).
Tendulkar reached 200 with a single off Charl Langeveldt in the final over of India's innings on Wednesday, having earlier broken the world record for the highest individual score of 194 held by Pakistan's Saeed Anwar and Zimbabwe's Charles Coventry.
Tendulkar, who scored centuries in both tests against South Africa this month, reached 200 off just 147 balls with 25 fours and three sixes.
Tendulkar's previous highest one-day individual score was 186 not out against New Zealand in Hyderabad in 1999.
Anwar made 194 against India in May 1997 while Coventry hit the same total not out against Bangladesh last year.
1989: Makes Test debut for India against Pakistan in Karachi at the age of 16, scoring 15 runs in the process.
December: Makes ODI debut against Pakistan but is dismissed by Waqar Younis without scoring a run.

1992: At the age of 19 he becomes the first overseas-born player to represent Yorkshire.
1994: Sept 9 - Claims his first ODI century against Sri Lanka in Colombo after 79 one-day matches.

1997: Named Wisden Cricketer of the Year.
1998: Scores his first double century for Mumbai against Australia in the Brabourne Stadium.
1999: November - Involved in India's highest run-scoring ODI partnership with Rahul Dravid as the pair put on 339 against New Zealand. In the same match, he records the highest individual ODI score in Indian history with an unbeaten 186.
2000: Gives up the captaincy of India after the two-Test series with South Africa.
2001: Given a suspended ban of one game in light of alleged ball tampering during a match against South Africa at St George's Park, Port Elizabeth. The ban was later lifted by the International Cricket Council after an investigation.
2003: Named the Player of the Tournament at the 2003 Cricket World Cup and also managed to score 673 runs, the highest by any player in the tournament.
2005: Overtakes Sunil Gavaskar's record of the highest number of Test centuries by claiming his 35th Test century against Sri Lanka in Delhi.
2006: Overtakes Kapil Dev claiming the record for the highest amount of Test appearances for India with 135.
2007: Jan 3 - Edges past Brian Lara's world record of runs scored in Tests away from home with 5,751 runs.

October 17: Becomes the highest run scorer in Test cricket, passing Brian Lara's previous mark of 11,953, when he reaches 16 in the first innings of the second Test against Australia.
2010: Feb 24 - Breaks the record for the highest individual score in a one-day international innings, hitting an unbeaten 200 in the ODI against South Africa to pass the previous mark of 194 not out set by Zimbabwe's Charles Coventry and 194 by Pakistan's Saeed Anwar.
Sachin Tendulkar’s unbeaten 200 is a testimony to his fitness and commitment even as he heads for his 37th birthday. He is looking as fit as

focused and as formidable as he ever has, and his timing remains untouched by the passing years.

Having played till the age of 39, I know that discipline, good, healthy living and focus can add years to one’s career. What I lost in pace and stamina, I gained in control and guile. In Tendulkar’s case, too, he has smartly sorted out his game. He might not have the eye he had in his late 20s, or the speed — those are the peak years of every batsman. However, Tendulkar has compensated for those areas with excellent shot selection and placement.

I always maintain that Test cricket and one-day cricket are two different areas, one cannot be connected to the other. However, Tendulkar’s rich vein of form in the longer version seems to have relaxed him and given him the freedom to play in an unburdened manner. Though I did not see the knock, the statistics I have got are staggering.

The fact that he got the score in 147 balls itself is a huge achievement and by reaching 200 he bettered one of the best one-day knocks I have seen, by Saeed Anwar. The latter was one of the sweetest timers of the ball, and that knock in Chennai was when he was at the peak of his form. To have bettered that Tendulkar must have really turned on the magic with some scintillating shots.

There may be many who will say that the wicket helped strokeplay and that there was nothing in it for the bowlers. But no matter what the wicket is like, to stand through 50 overs and score 200 is a very, very special effort — an achievement that his contemporaries, Ricky Ponting and Brian Lara, would have been proud of.

If I had had to pick up a guy as the one to score the first one-day double ton, it would have been Virender Sehwag. He is young, belligerent and in unbelievable touch. However, it was his illustrious senior who pipped him at the post. Tendulkar seems to have rediscovered an exuberance and enjoyment which seems to have taken his game to a different level, and India would be hoping that he maintains this rhythm for some time.

This achievement would mean a lot to Tendulkar, even though he has many records to his name because every opener must have had an eye on this record. A double century has only been a theoretical possibility in limited overs so far, so in many ways Tendulkar has achieved something unusual. True, he has many feathers on his cap, but this one is a really special one. An absolutely phenomenal record by a truly phenomenal player.
The 36-year-old former India captain earlier in the day broke the world record for the highest individual score of 194 by Pakistan's Saeed Anwar and Zimbabwe's Charles Coventry on his way to 200 not out off 147 balls with 25 fours and three sixes.
Here are six facts about one of the all-time greatest batsmen and the face of Indian cricket for over two decades.
* A teenage prodigy, Tendulkar was born on April 24, 1973 in Mumbai and made his test debut against Pakistan as a curly-haired 16-year-old, becoming the youngest Indian test player. A year later, he hit his maiden test hundred in England.
* Tendulkar holds a number of batting records, including the aggregate one-day runs (17,598) and centuries (46). He also holds the record for most test hundreds (47).
* He had two unsuccessful terms as India captain, the first aged 23 in 1996 before being axed 17 months later after his batting suffered. He was reappointed in 1999, but stood down after a 3-0 test series rout in Australia the following year.
* Tendulkar was named player of the 2003 World Cup, scoring a record 673 runs to help India reach the final, where they lost to Australia. The next year, he equalled compatriot Sunil Gavaskar's world record of 34 test hundreds while compiling 248 not out, his highest score, in Australia.
* Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 1997.
* Surpassed West Indies' Brian Lara as the highest test run-scorer in 2008. Lara had scored 11,953 runs before he retired from international cricket in 2007. Tendulkar has scored 13,447 test runs.

SACHIN SCORED HIGHEST ODI RUNS IN A INNING

Just now sachin tendulkar scored highest runs of 200 in a inning....

lets celebrate buys
IMMORTAL AT 200

Nearing 37, He’s Playing Better Than Ever With 4 Tons In His Last 4 Tests, And 3 Of His 4 Highest ODI Scores In The Last 12 Months

Even before he took guard at Gwalior, Sachin Tendulkar’s place in the pantheon of cricketing gods was assured. He had already amassed both the highest number of runs and the maximum tons in Tests and one-dayers alike. If devout worshippers had any reason to quibble, it was that there was no one record-shattering innings — Brian Lara has the highest Test score of 400 and Saeed Anwar and the little-known Charles Coventry shared the ODI record of 194.
Just 147 balls later, Tendulkar set the record straight in emphatic fashion. A staggering 2,961 matches and almost 39 years after the first ODI was played — and remember, many ODIs in the early years
featured innings of 60 overs each, which gave batsmen more scoring opportunities — the Little Legend finally became the first cricketer to score 200 in a one-dayer, propelled by a record 25 fours in one knock.
The landmark 200 came in the final over of the innings, though Sachin crossed the previous record of 194 in the 46th over; in the interim, several lustily-hit fours and sixes by M S Dhoni were accompanied by groans from millions of spectators desperate to see Sachin on strike.
The big moment, though, finally arrived, crowning what is fast turning into one of Sachin’s most productive periods with the bat. The last 12 months have seen him score 10 international hundreds: six in Tests — including four centuries in his last four Tests — and four in ODIs. Three of those 4 ODI tons — Wednesday’s 200, the unforgettable 175 against Australia last November and the brilliant 163 in New Zealand last March — are among his four highest ODI scores. Only his previous highest score of 186, against the Kiwis, falls outside this golden patch.
Some years ago, as Sachin struggled with injury and a dip in form, some commentators had the temerity to suggest that Ricky Ponting would eventually overhaul his records. Over the past 12 months, though, Sachin has once again opened up a yawning gap between himself and all his contemporaries, and ensured that if at all any comparisons have to be made, they should be with another Australian — Don Bradman, who was famously reminded of himself when watching Sachin bat. True, no one comes close to the Don’s amazing average of 99.94, or his phenomenal 29 centuries from just 52 Tests. But the fact that Sachin is breaking records barely two months shy of his 37th birthday testifies both to remarkable longevity and an insatiable appetite.
Indeed, there are no speed limits on Sachin Tendulkar’s road to excellence. After two decades of basking in the glory of his sporting pre-eminence on the world stage, India is now privileged to witness the second coming of the most complete and prolific batsman of this age. Even the back-breaking expectations of a billion unrealistic fans, it seems, are a pittance compared to the soaring aspirations of the man himself.
Over the last year, Sachin has taken his skills to a whole new level of consistency. The body, close to breakdown in the mid-2000s, has been chiselled to accessorize this new-found garb of perfection. Back in 1998, he had scored 12 international tons, 9 in ODIs and 3 in Tests. This purple patch has turned back the clock.
In the last 12 months, he has been the only player to score six hundreds in 10 Tests, at an average of 78.3. In 20 ODIs, a format in which his records are set in stone, he has notched up 1158 runs at 72.37, with 4 hundreds.

In Gwalior, Tendulkar strutted on his stage like a man possessed, ran between the wickets like a 20-year-old and reaffirmed his relevance in modern cricket’s rapidly-changing dynamics. When it finally came to pass, the unbeaten double ton almost seemed a scary inevitability. There were no cramps, no nerves, just steely intent to go on with a ruthlessly dominating display. Where have all the years gone?
Commentator Ravi Shastri repeatedly referred to him as a run machine, but that’s only a half-Sach. Tendulkar isn’t a mundane machine. Instead, he scripts his achievements with soul. This is a man for whom excellence is a habit, who is so devoted to his craft, so enthusiastic still, that with experience he has mastered the art of seamlessly binding talent, discipline and perspicacity, all without compromising on style, for maximum gain in a team cause. The end result is machine-like consistency.
Treasure this new, improved Tendulkar. He is, by far, still India’s most valuable player, and will remain so till he decides to call it quits. But that’s for later: after Gwalior, and given the form he is in, it’s time to ask what’s next. Maybe a 100 international hundreds, given that 93 are already in the bag?
How about a Test triple century, Sachin?
